Endurance Conference

There are ONLY 3 days left to go before the start of the 2011 European Endurance Conference on the 8th-9th of October in London at The Renaissance Hotel in Heathrow.

After selling out early last week, UKA have now negociated a further 50 places for UK coaches at a REDUCED RATE of ONLY £70 for the Weekend.

Key speakers include endurance coaching legend Jack Daniels and Wynn Gmitrosky.

Jack Daniels is the author of one of the most highly respected and widely read books in athletics: Daniels’ Running Formula. Having worked with athletes across the whole spectrum up to Olympic level, Jack’s experience is almost unparalleled in the field of Endurance running. Runner’s World Magazine named him the ‘World’s best coach’. Jack has a doctorate in Exercise Physiology.

Wynn Gmitroski is the former coach to both Gary Reed (silver medallist in Osaka and 4th place finisher in Beijing), Angela Chalmers (1992 Olympic 3,000m bronze medallist) and Diane Cummins (sub 1.59 international athlete, national record holder and ten times national champion). Wynn’s knowledge of middle distance training theory and his specific approach to both therapy and training will be of huge interest to all coaches. Wynn is the Head Coach at the Canadian National Endurance Centre, a team coach at multiple Olympic Games and other Championships. Wynn is also a Physiotherapist
