WJRL – Race #1

The inaugural Wiltshire Junior Race League spaonsored by Wiltshire & Swindon Sports Partnership got underway at the JAVR 2K run, hosted at Southwick Country Park near Trowbridge. Team Bath AC got off to a flying start with Tom Brown and James Welbourne racing neck and neck to both finish in 7:29 and with India Ibbotson of Team Bath finishing as the first Wiltshire girl, ensured that Team Bath AC got maximum points ahead of host club Avon Valley Runners and third placed Frome Running Club.

The next Wiltshire Junior Race League event is on Saturday March 15th at the Swindon Park Run 5K at Lydiard Park.
