The Bath Hilly 10 played host to Race #5 of the Wiltshire Race League, sponsored by Newsquest with over 100 runners being attracted to the start line. Matt Whitfield of Bristol & West AC took victory on the incredibly tough 10-mile course, recording a time of 57:07 ahead of George Frost from Team Bath and Bart Thomas of Chippenham Harriers. In fifth place Gary Dunstone of Chippenham Harriers claimed the prize for 1st MV40 and maintained his position as leading male scorer in the Wiltshire Road Race League. In the Ladies race, Fiona Price of Avon Valley Runners took victory in 70:57 and with club mates Diane Hier finishing third (and 1st FV50) and Jennifier Ford in fourth it was enough to ensure that the Trowbridge based club once again took the full 20 League points on offer with their ‘B’ team moving within a point of second placed Chippenham Harriers in the First Division.

In the Second Division Team Bath ‘B’ took the maximum points on offer, however it is Calne Running Club who sit at the head of the table.
