Wiltshire Off Road Race League #3

Highworth Running Club’s, Wickstead Wander played host to Race 3 in the Off Road Race League today. The race was won by Highworth’s Gavin Wedlake in a time of 34 Min 08 Sec closely followed by Corsham Running Club’s Stuart Henderson. Chippenham Harrier’s, Claire Frances was first lady overall.

Chippenham Harriers extended their lead at the top of the first division table followed by Avon Valley Runners, Chippenham Harriers B and Devizes Running Club. In the second division, Highworth Running Club took maximum points from todays race however Royal Wootten Bassett Hounds are leading the division.

Avon Valley Runners Justin Peters is leading the mens individual league table with 288 points. Chippenham Harrier’s Claire Francis is leading the ladies individual points table.

The next league race is the 2014 Wiltshire XC Championships which will take place at Bath University on Sunday 14th December as part of the Tri County XC Championships. Further details are here. Please note Online entries close on 11th December 14 and there are no entries on the day, This event will be a closely contested race in the Wiltshire Off Road league with strong teams from most clubs expected.
