2021 Wiltshire Athletics Association Club Affiliation

It’s that time of year when we ask that clubs pay the affiliation fee to Wiltshire Athletic Association (£30).

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 was a difficult year for clubs with limited races and competition for our athletes.  Due to government restrictions, we were unable to hold our road and off-road race leagues but there was some limited track competition for our younger athletes in the county.

The Association is hopeful that, as restrictions ease, races will gradually begin again in the more normal format that we are used to.  Already, our Track and Field Secretary is working hard behind the scenes to get the popular and successful Wiltshire Track & Field event organised for later in May.

I would be most grateful if your club would continue to support the Association, assisting in the continued provision of road and off-road leagues whilst also helping to support the continued provision of county track & field as well as cross-country championships. These competitions provide the athletes in Wiltshire the opportunity to compete in county competition as well as representing the county at championship events and progressing all the way to national level.
