Wiltshire Cross Country County Championships 2023

The county championships his year will be held on Sunday 10 December 2023 at Bushy Norwood Field, University of Bath. The championships will be held within the Gloucestershire cross country league fixture two.

You will find entry details at – cross country – Cross Country (athletics4u.co.uk). You can enter all four Gloucestershire league fixtures or can enter just the second league fixture. Individual entries for the county championships will open in early November.

From the county championships teams will be selected to run in the South West XC Championships on Sunday 7 January 2024 at RNAS Merrifield and in the CAU Intercounties XC Champions on Saturday 9 March 2024 at Preswold Hall Leicestershire.

A reminder of County Championship race eligibility:

  • Birth within the county (includes mother’s residence at time of birth)
  • Residence in the county for 9 months or more
  • Posting to a base of HM Forces within the county for 9 months or more [Not having represented another county in the current, or preceding, competition year]
  • Note: membership of an affiliated athletic club within the county is not a criterion
