Off Road League Update Race #5
Royal Wootton Bassett Hounds Lungbuster 4th Feb 2024
In a busy end to the Off Road season here is the write up from Race#5 in the Off-Road League.
In Division 1, Chippenham Harriers took the maximum points, with RWBH & Calne Running Club following up in 2nd and 3rd.
This was the highest point scoring race for Calne in the league so far
In Division 2, Pewsey Vale RC stormed up to take the 20points, with SLINN Allstars and St Mary’s, Calne taking the 2nd & 3rd spots.
Overall, this has Chippenham Harriers sitting in First Place for Division 1, with Royal Wootton Bassett Hounds in 2nd and Corsham RC still hanging on in 3rd place.
In Division 2, St Mary’s are in the first promotion spot, with CoSarc’s B Team in the 2nd spot. Team Bath A are in 3rd place.
With the Smartt Smasher being the 6th Race and there being 6 races to count of the 8 total for both the Team and the Individual Competitions, anything could happen from now on!
In the Individual Competition, on the day – at the Lungbuster –
There were 96 Men & 38 Ladies scoring points
The Calne RC duo of Simon & Matt sandwiched Chippenham Harriers’ Jake for the first 3 league places and top points.
For the ladies, a similar situation occurred! With Sarah and Emma of Pewsey Vale RC sandwiching Calne RC’s Charlotte.
