Wiltshire Off-Road League Table Updates

15/01/2022 By aroyall

15th January 2022

As we finally enter 2022 and hope to see life return to pre-Covid normality, we are now ready to publish the results of the League, post Race #4 (Plain Crazy). We are now half way through this years League calendar.

We can also anticipate the widely popular Slaughterford 9 (actually 8.5m) on the 16th January (tomorrow). With the rain finally stopped and temperatures around zero, this will be a hotly contested event this year. With the Chippenham Harriers hosting this event we may see less harriers competing and therefore an opportunity for the other clubs to make headway into the current leaders points.

The newly updated tables are available here and we hope to publish the results for Slaughterford soon after the event. These are usually available on Facebook in the first instance. This is always quicker if we can all ensure correct details are provided at the time of entry to these races, especially ensuring our names are consistent, and clubs added. We normally allow 7-14 days after an event for corrections and then results are final.

If you like the Off-Road league, remember to check-in on the Cross-Country events too!

Over the coming days Denise (Nott) and I will be selecting the senior men and women’s teams who will represent Wiltshire at the UK Inter County Cross Country Championships.

There are typically 9 members to each team.

Don’t be shy 👍

Many thanks 😊
