Wiltshire 5K Championships

Simon Plummer of Salisbury ARC led the 70 strong field around the fast Melksham 5K course to claim victory in 15:33, ahead of the Avon Valley Runners duo of Tom Fisher and Michael Towler.
Gary Hughes of Team Bath finished in fourth place overall and claimed the prize for 1st MV40 and Sean Butler of Avon Valley Runners was 1st MV50.
Karen Butler of Avon Valley Runners had a hard fought race against Debbie Jones of Chippenham Harriers and club mate Fiona Price to claim the ladies title.
Helen Bovill of Chippenham Harriers claimed 1st FV40 and Aly Sloane of Salisbury ARC claimed the FV50 prize.
