Wiltshire Half Marathon Championships

Tom Fisher of Avon Valley Runners finished third in the race overall, behind two time winner Dave Roper of Cheltenham Harriers and Jonathan Stead of Herne Hill Harriers to be crowned county champion ahead of Gary O’Brien and Heath Bampton of Swindon Harriers. Gary O’Brien who finished in fourth place overall also claimed the prize for 1st MV40; Martin Chorley of Warminster Running Club was 1st MV50.
Swindon Harriers claimed the Men’s team title ahead of Avon Valley Runners and Marlborough Running Club.
Diane Hier of Warminster Running Club finished second overall to claim the county title and 1st FV40 ahead of Samantha Kelly of Wootton Bassett Hounds and Helen Audrain of Swindon Harriers. Jenn Garth of Swindon Harriers claimed the 1st FV50 title with Swindon Harriers taking the Ladies team title ahead of Slinn Allstars and Swindon Striders.
