National XC Championships

In the Under-13 Boys, John and Robert Howarth finished in 13th and 15th places respectively to lead Wiltshire to 13th out of the represented 41 counties. For the Under-13 Girls 69th placed Ella Sykes gave Wiltshire a 30th place team position.

For the Under-15 Boys Kieran Galloway led Wiltshire to 30th place and in the Under-15 Girls, Yasmin Watling sneaked into the top-10 with a splendid 9th place to lead the Wiltshire team to a 28th ranking.

In the Under-17 Men, Team Bath’s Alex Carter secured a podium finish with 3rd place overall and saw the county get another 28th ranking. Lillie Bellamy finished in 46th place in the Under-17 Women with Wiltshire finishing 13th out of 34 counties.

For the Under-20 Men Alex Hill led the way with a fine 15th position with Wiltshire finishing 13th county.

Peter Merritt of Devizes was the counties leading Senior Man and Georgie Starkie of Codford (Frome Running Club) the leading Wiltshire Senior Ladies. However the county did not complete a team to score.
