Seated Thrower Tie Down Session at Bath University

There will be an intro to Seated Throwing taking place at Bath University on Thursday 15th March commencing at 18.30. There is a  fee of £10 to cover Malcolm’s fuel etc. This session is open to not only coaches and officials, but to anyone who is  interested. Malcolm Wallace is an experienced Paralympic coach who has supported a number of ambulant and seated throwers to World and European medals at both senior and junior level.  He has also coached two throwers who have represented their countries at the Olympics.

Malcolm also works with both coaches and athletes who are starting off on their sporting careers, and is currently mentoring a number of coaches who are new to disability sport.

Malcolm has an extensive career as a marketing and sales director within the business to business industrial sector and is a trained mentor.

Malcolm’s training session will cover such areas as classification, competition rules and how to develop your athletes so they can achieve their aims. This will cover throwing positions, exercises communications between the athlete and coach. Malcolm will also support coaches over the next year by providing a mentoring service.
