Wiltshire U17s grab Silver at South West XC Championships

Well done to all the brave athletes that managed to stay in shape and compete in the 2024/25 South West inter-county and club Championships held on Saturday 4th January 2025 at RNAS Merryfield, Ilton, Somerset.

On a perfect day for cross country running we saw some excellent performances from Wiltshire athletes. Joshua Maxwell [Teambath AC] 2nd U20M, Millie Porter [Western Tempo] 3rd SW, Erin Wilmers [City of Salisbury ARC] 1st F35, Sophie Maxwell [Teambath AC] 2nd U15G, Charissa Griffiths-Clark [Swindon Harriers] 2nd U13G, Molly McMeeking [Swindon Harriers] 3rd U11G.

U17B team silver – Henry Haslam [Southampton AC], Tobi Loughlin [Teambath AC], Archie Enstone [Teambath AC], Charlie Coles [City of Salisbury ARC]

U17G team silver – Eloise Foster [Swindon Harriers], Ella Spencer [Swindon Harriers], Sophie Wood [City of Salisbury ARC], Esme White [City of Salisbury ARC]

U15G team silver – Sophie Maxwell [Teambath AC], Oliva Paul [Teambath AC], Elara Jacobs [City of Salisbury ARC], Ellie Charlesworth [Swindon Harriers]

U13B team bronze – Max Jackson [Swindon Harriers], Joey Burdekin [Swindon Harriers], Douglas Kirby [Swindon Harriers], Joshua Edwards [Westbury Harriers]

We shall be selecting the Wiltshire teams for the CAU Inter-counties Cross Country Championships on the 8 March before the end of January. You will be contacted by the team managers if selected.
