Wiltshire Road Race League Fixtures 2026

I’m delighted to take over as Wiltshire Road Secretary.

My first challenge is to get a Road League season together as quickly as possible, so here it is.

  • 1 Corsham 10k – 26th April
  • 2 Westbury 5K Series (Best time counts) 12th May, 09th June, 14th July, 11th August
  • 3 Broad Town 5 June TBC
  • 4 Heddington 5k Series (Best time counts) 16th June, 21st July, 18 August.
  • 5 Lighting Bolt 10K = 19th July & 16th August events only (Best time Counts)
  • 6 Compton Bassett 5 = 6th September
  • 7 Chippenham Half = 13th September
  • 8 Calne Clock Change Challenge 10k = 25th October

Selected Wiltshire Championship events.

  • 10K = Lighting Bolt August event only.
  • 5 Mile = Compton Bassett 5
  • Half Marathon = Chippenham Half

This season finishes at the Clock Change in October. Later finish than usual, sorry, but I put it in to avoid having three race weekends on a trot again.

Going forward, I will do my best to ensure every Club and event organisers have at least one of their races selected in a 2 year period.

Also, I like to mention, May is the quietest of months for local races, so there a gap to be had if anyone planning an event in the future.
